Every commission is an original, hand-painted piece, not a print, not a reproduction. Before I start, I'll ask you to complete the commission information form so I can learn more about the story you want captured.Â

Each portrait is painted in archival gouache on your choice of premium surface, finished with a hand-applied waterproof wax seal that deepens the color and protects it for decades. You'll get progress updates as I work, a final look before it ships, and a painting built to be lived with, not just displayed.

Painting Ships to You
Once the painting is finished, I'll send a final look. Minor adjustments are included; you'll receive an invoice for the the remaining 50% as well as any add-on material or framing options, the balance is due before your piece ships.
Final Review
I get to work. You'll see progress along the way, including a preview before the piece is finalized. My current lead times are 4-6 weeks.
I Get to Work
Book your commission with a 50% deposit. Then you'll fill out the commission info form to tell me all about what you'd like painted and supply your reference photos. We'll decide on the best reference photo and I'll start painting.Â

Custom Shadow Box Frame

Handmade pine shadow box frames with a clean 1/8" gap and 3/4" depth, giving your piece some dimension off the wall. Available in three stain colors, with or without a white border around the painting. Simple, modern, built to last.
