aboutÂ
me
I'm gwawsh. I paint portraits of pets and the homes we build our lives around, using color bold enough to capture the memories and feelings that matter most.

I've painted celebrations of new furry additions to the family, gotcha-day anniversaries, and milestone achievements for first home-buyers. I've also captured more tender memories of a pet who's crossed over, or a keepsake for a someone handing over the keys to the home that raised them.
Â
Good Dogs. Cool Cats. The Houses that shape our lives. Every commission is a story before it's a painting, and I strive to make those stories into lasting memories.
about the paintings
Every portrait is painted in archival grade gouache, a bright colorful paint with a distinct matte finish. The pigments are chosen for their lightfastness, the color you get the day it arrives is the color you'll still have in twenty years.

Each piece is painted on fine art paper or canvas, sized and matched to how you plan to display it, whether that's framed on a gallery wall or sitting in a gift box. All finished work gets a hand-applied wax seal that deepens the pigment and protects the surface for good.

Commissions are an original, archival work made to be lived with for decades. Not a print. Not a reproduction. The real thing, painted once, for you.
